...I love Obama, I am not sure if I would support him in the run, though I think he is wonderful. It depends on who else runs, but if it were between Obama and Clinton, I would choose Obama hands down. And no, I don't think the right question is whether or not he has "experience". Like Bush II had more credentials? (snorting) She has not held any other office either, so like Clinton has anything much more experience than Obama except a few more years as a senator?
I do not like Clinton because she is too far right. Her support of the war is one defining quality for me for example, also her support for Welfare Reform, which has been plunging families, particularly women and children down into the deep hole of lifelong poverty. Plus, like Kerry, she shifts with the wind and does not seem to want to support many things that are for a solid safety net such as with the health care issue. And yes she was lambasted for working on it as first lady, but you would think by now when we are about ready to get out our pitchforks and torches over health care she could come out swinging and say, "I told you so you ninnies!" Her husband signed into law NAFTA and the Telecommunications Act and I seriously doubt she would do much to support improvements in those areas.
Obama, on the other hand is not only of American and international bloodlines and has already garnered respect and even adulation overseas and at home, he worked for years in the inner city of Chicago defending the poor when he could have made bucco bucks as a slick city lawyer or a university official, with his shining academic achievements. He was against the war and has seen the affects of NAFTA first hand with the poverty and joblessness and lack of opportunity in the inner city, so I am sure he would do something about NAFTA if he could. He was Columbia Law School's first black man to head the Law Review and he has culture, class, and is still earthy enough to walk with We The People.
Scarborough is a nimrod, he is a wingnut and he had a dead intern show up in his office when he held office and ran like a little girl from it. He is no better at taking responsibility for his actions than Bu$h, or any of that ilk. And he isn't very smart. His "advice" is worth what was paid ~ which is not even a penny, zilch.
