Conscious-less Bush: "“I must tell you, I'm sleeping a lot better than people would assume,” he sai...
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2006/12/bushs_first_com.html

I guess being a criminal doesn't get him down.
I guess killing all the soldiers in Iraq is no big deal.
I guess screwing up the Katrina response is nothing.

I guess he just sleeps through his Presidency and has no clue what he's done.

Bush makes me want to :puke:.

4. He's a spoiled brat with no sense of reality
He was the privileged elite, knowing he was so rich and privliged because he was so smart and worked so hard.

Many of the GOP elitists accept that as their reality. They are only a bunch of spoiled rich kids.

6. Yes, bush worked hard at partying. That's the extent of his "working hard".
He excelled at that and nothing else.

20. But Poppy did try to help
What do you think Baker's group was for?

But, of course, Chimpy has all but told them just where to shove their report because he is convinced of his own infallibility.

21. I realize Poppy *tried* to help, but....
no matter what Poppy does, this will never just "go away". There is far too much damage done to our Country as a whole, our reputation and standing in the rest of the world's eye and the legacy of the BFEE. Poppy's little puppet got loose from his strings a few times, and it has been an embarrassment to the Bush Dynasty.

12. Regarding the comments
about Mary Cheney and her partner's child, are we to believe that they are the only gay parents who would be fit to raise a child? He has already stated that children should be raised by two parents, a husband and a wife. Is this just another example of his hypocrisy? The rest of the interview was just as bad. So he sleeps well. I hope the grief-stricken people who have lost loved ones in his war, regardless of whether they are American or Iraqi, can some day sleep as well.

What a true luxury a good night's sleep would be to those who have been horribly wounded, and will never live another pain free moment in the rest of their lives. He's a disgrace. He also makes me want to:puke:

14. the sleep remark and the others in that article
First of all, regarding the comments at the link that bush made about cheney's daughter ("she'll be a loving soul"), does anyone else think this might be some sort of r-w codespeak? It's an odd way to phrase things.

Second, the comment from Laura Bush re Rice strikes me as damning with faint praise. Pickles said, in regard to Rice becoming a presidential candidate, "Probably because she is single, her parents are no longer living, she's an only child. You need a very supportive family and supportive friends to have this job," the First Lady said.

The comment strikes me as cruel.

And as far as bush sleeping, what he said reflects his usual insensitivity. He would be incapable of thinking a comment like that through--to how it sounded to others.

Cher

Wow. That was a verbal bitch-slap, all right.

"You need a very supportive family and supportive friends to have this job" so she thinks Condi wouldn't be able to do it?

:wow:

Oh no you din't, Laura...!
