You called me a racist, yet you don't even know me. You jumped to the conclusion that, because you misinterpreted my post, I must simply be a racist friend of Duke (that's in your topic line). I am personally insulted by your accusation. But hey it's an anonymous board so what the hell you get a bye and I'll move on to more fruitful topics.
Let's put him to the stake, if he doesn't burn he's a racist, if burns well he deserved it. Are you perhaps a fan of the McCarthy era? Maybe some Salem blood? And no I did not leave it up to everyone to decide. I was very clear, in my subsequent response to those confused, the purpose of my post.
And the fact that you posted something vague. Then acted like everybody else was wrong for not being able to figure out what you were trying to say. You made a mistake. Instead of fixing it you turned it into a 30 post flamewar. BTW, Redstone is one of the finer characters you'll meet here. Maybe you could learn something.
I read it as the person was summing up what Duke was really doing ---- thereby saying the enemy of his enemy is his friend, but they said it in the 1st person (I think). I never liked that saying anyhow... lol
looking to pick a fight over something that has been explained away three times already before you chimed in? I swear, some people here just strain their tiny brains immensely to find offense where *clearly* none was intended.
34. Well I'm the son of a Liberator of Ordruf. I likely know more about the
Concentration camps than most of you. I have ORIGINAL photographs of the carnage, taken by my dad. I held a swatch of cloth given to my dad from a inmate of the camps with inscriptions of gratitude on it, written in the man's own blood as he had nothing else to leave his mark with. I went to rallies with my dad to shout down neo-Nazis before I was teenager.
I can and will say little more on this subject.
Look up the enemy of my enemy is my firend. find it's origin. You will come to understand the irony.
I hope I'm not too ambiguous here, but I made a decision awhile back to be as nice as I can on these boards as much as I can, so when I read the inane responses to your post I chose to politely chastise your responders in the guise of giving you advice. I was not entirely successful (post 33). But for what it's worth, your intent was entirely clear to me, but then, I'm not so obtuse as to need sarcasm smilies and the like, nor do I feel a need to unwarrantly attack other posters of good standing over opinions they state which I might not fully understand.
41. All he should have done is put the statement in quotes, but still,
people here should know better anyway. I would have put it like this, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Thus, the quotes make it clear, or should to most people, that I'm attributing the attitude toward Duke.
Wolfie was getting pretty pissed that Nazi was lambasting him. Last time I saw him that angry was when someone insinuated that Mrs. Wolfie was watching him on TV...he replied that you could bet your life that she wasn't watching. ALways wondered what that was about...
"If you remember it was during the time that Leb. was invaded that Mel Gibson went on his rant. I think like some of us he's just sick of the constant warring, and after a few to many drinks what was troubling to him came out. Too bad, I'm sure he has many Jew friends but to some people in the US, we think of them as American but they still identify with Israel which I don't feel comfortable with."
I have no problem criticizing Israel, but I'm just shocked by this thread. I thought it was bad during the Israeli attack on Lebanon, but this is even worse. We have a problem on DU. BTW, don't look now, but another Dukian just crawled out of the woodwork.
David Duke is a former member of the KKK who attempted to radically clean up his image so that he could run for Congress as a right-wing Republican in Louisiana. He hates those who are non-white. He has absolutely no love for the Palestinians or anyone else in the Middle East.
I'm sure you can find some other folks who admire him at Free Republic.

We appreciate alerts on clear expressions of support and agreement for the man, and for Holocaust denial or defense of same, and they will be acted on. But comments like this are not helpful either, and their cessation would be very welcome.
Good to see you. Even if someone disagrees with Israel's treatment of the Palestinians, the bigot Duke is not the person to use. Everything he says has underlying bad intentions and he should not be applauded for anything.
and I definitely think there are far, far more bigots over in freeperville, but perusing their threads on Duke and the conference in Tehran, I saw not one iota of support for Duke. Yes, I realize that that has everything to do with convenience, and nothing to do with being a real picture of freeper sentiments.
