Hannity on GMA -- why?
He was the top story this morning on "Good Morning America" - the ONLY "journalist" allowed on the farewell tour.

100% of the troops think Rummy is a Rockstar!
They all love him!
This war has been politicized!
The ONLY thing wrong over there is that the nation isn't 100% behind the war!!

It was like listening to a report from Bizarro World. What is ABC doing giving that clown air time? Doesn't he have his own network to lie on?

1. I could only watch a few minutes
Edited on Tue Dec-12-06 09:19 AM by Donnachaidh
Then my gag reflex chimed in and I had to turn it off. WTF is up with GMA?

2. ABC is total crap
and WHY aren't "journalists" questioning why only Queen Sean goes?

3. Sickening, like Bill O'Reilly being subject of lengthy interview on Today Show
I was irked recently when NBC Today Show gave Bill O'Reilly a lengthy forum to spew his garbage as if he was a person meriting special treatment. Maddening how these Fox miscreants have managed to elevate their status by getting onto the networks morning shows to inflict their views on those of us not watching Fox channel. Instead of being treated as lying partisan blowhards, they are instead treated with respect as if they deserve merit as knowledgeable spokesmen.

4. He's not a journalist - doesn't even have the proper training.
He's an infotainer.

7. Hannity a journalist?! Hahaha! Leave it to the brain-dead MSM to label a propagandist as
a journalist. They wouldn't know real journalism if it snuck up and bit them in the ass.

They can try all they want to make it appear as if this war is all puppies and rainbows but the American public is smart enough to see through their BS. They look like deluded fools by putting on this ridiculous propaganda show.

9. Wow, what a brainwashing job
Hannity must have been given the full 25c tour.

Of course all the troops love Rummy. At least the ones Sean saw, right? The hand-picked, gung-ho troops. The "malcontents" are all locked down in a barracks somehwere or actually doing the fighting. They carefully steered Hannity away from the real troops.

Did he step out of the Green Zone at any point? Did he visit a forward base? Get to speak to any non-coms in a chow line?

I'm guessing no.

12. I don't believe 100% of the troops are behind Rummy,
but they cannot say anything different without repercussions.

13. Plus there's the whole cognitive dissonance thing
How do you justify putting your life at risk for a cause you don't believe in? How do you justify sending your husband/wife/child who signed up before the war started off to war for a lost cause?

I always cut troops and their families a lot of slack when I hear them interviewed, and they support the war. They sort of have to think that way in order to stay sane.

It's the civilians who support the war that are the crazy ones. And those who enlisted after the war started.

/been protesting since before the damned thing started

16. He's part of the "ABC family"
and it's why media consolidation MATTERS..

In past times, he would have been just one of many "nuts" out there in radio-land, spouting venom.. a sideshow freak like Rush (usued to be)..

Now he, and all the others are used as promotional fodder..

Notice how the "morning shows" always seem to have tons of time to promote movies, series, and actors who are "part of the family"..amd never have a minute's time for others??

IT'S ALL ADVERTISING....
