My Take: Cindy was arrested because it would detract from
Bush's biggest moment of the speech. He got a THUNDEROUS ovation when he acknowledged the parents of a fallen soldier in the audience. They obviously supported him. All cameras would have immediately panned to Cindy - another mother of a fallen solider - and her shirt would have reminded America how many have died.

1. T-Shirt Tenacity
Turns out Cindy was wearing a T-shirt that said "2040 - How many more?" Seems to have 'offended' some people.

Now I'm hearing there are many arrests these days, of people wearing T-shirts that say negative things about the shrub.

Hmmmmm....guess it's time I got one of these T-shirt!

16. I have a bumper sticker . . .
. . . that says IMPEACH on it. Twice in the last two weeks I've had people nearly road rage me off the road.

5. Cindy knew what she was doing.
Brilliant move on her part. No one gives a rat's ass about the speech at this point. She's got the spotlight again and she eaned it with that play. Genius!

6. I just don't buy that any cameras would've panned to Cindy
The M$M would not have done that to Junior. They would've been ordered not to, imo. However, I think the police created a media frenzy when they arrested Cindy for simply wearing a t-shirt listing the number of American soldiers killed in Iraq. The morning shows are "swarming" to get her for interviews, apparently. http://www.rawstory.com/ If they thought they were preventing Junior from missing one staged moment of applause in the speech, they miscalculated - badly. They've now given Cindy far more than a moment in front of the cameras in the days to come.

17. Yes, they would've. They alway pan to the opposition
they show Clinton and Kerry at opportune moments. Those great cameramen always took to catch the "reaction".

I truly believe this.

and she was at a rally before hand where the tshirt was appropriate. She was invited by the Congresswoman from California and showed up.

13. BinGO!
They spuriously arrest dissenters from Chimperial events. They KNOW the cases will be kicked out of court, but they do it anyway just to keep the picture pretty for this "popular wartime president."

Gotta love it -- "Tough Guy" Bush can't deal with a Mom wearing a protest tshirt. What an effective leader! :sarcasm:
