3. Yeah, it wasn't Jesus who started the crap, it was the "Christians"

When they decided to be Roman(imperial, not Catholic, that is).

Before he joined the Dark Side, Christopher Hitchens coined a good term to describe the institutional Church.

He termed it "Christism-Paulism", likening what had happened to what happened to Marxism with the Bolshevik Revolution was replaced by Stalinism(Or, as Stalin himself called it "Marxism-Leninism".

It was this murderous perversion of the original teachings, in my view, that the great English songwriter Leon Rosselson was so vividly describing in his song "Stand Up for Judas":

"By sword and gun and crucifix, Christ's gospel has been spread
And two thousand cruel years have shown the way that Jesus led.
The heretics whipped and tortured, and the butchering bloody Crusaders,
