http://thinkprogress.org/2006/11/30/gonzales-mistake/

Today on CNN’s Situation Room, Attorney General Alberto Gonzales was asked if he could think of a single mistake he’s made during his service to President Bush during the last six years. He couldn’t do it.

Gonzales told Wolf Blitzer, “I think that you and I would — I’d have to spend some time thinking about that.” He added, “Obviously I’ve made some recommendations to my client. Some of those recommendations have not been supported in the courts. In hindsight, you sometimes wonder, well, perhaps, perhaps the recommendation should have been something different.” Watch it:

(end snip)

Hey Torture Boy, Smirky is no longer your client. America is your client. You made recommendations to your 'former' client. And, yes, they should have been something different. You should be upholding the law, not finding ways around it for your 'client'. Asswipe.

1. It's in his job description.
"must be able to pretend to serve the People while maintaining absolute loyalty to real client, never revealing any truth, even under oath"

3. Maybe they are really all Droids
and have all been preprogrammed to answer the same questions with the same answers. I mean this weeks word is 'foment' right. Bush used it like 8 times in a one page speech. yesterday I heard Pace use it a couple of times and the 'talking heads' are now routinely using it too.

You've heard them do it. Bush issues a phrase and within 24 hours the same words in the same order, tone and context are filling the airwaves uttered by the same Bushbot Droids.

Yeah, Droids - that explains it.

4. Yes, 'opine' is the one I remember.
That went on for several weeks, it seemed. Wonder if they have a 'Bush Word of the Week' program or something.
