Someone who is more liberal than most could ever even imagine in their wildest dreamlike imaginings. Someone who has hope for the incoming Dem congress, but worries that some things will never change, and some of the changes that have taken place will never be retroactively rectified.

Ellen doesn't concern herself with the day to day squabbles, usually, but focuses on the big picture.

For me, it's that I contributed, ... That I'm on this planet doing some good and making people happy. That's to me the most important thing, that my hour of television is positive and upbeat and an antidote for all the negative stuff going on in life.
