An Iraq which is exploding into civil war. Lebanon which may be starting down the same path. Putin who appears to be closely related to Rasputin. (George should have put on his glasses before he looked into Putin's eyes and saw his soul.) China who is just starting to flex their global muscle. An economy which is good for those who comprise the top approximately 5%. Everyone else's economy is lousy. Inflation which exists inspite of the steady denials. Job loss which continues even though the numbers have been "massaged" to make them appear much much better than the reality. A steady increase in food lines, even in small towns who are not used to seeing things like that except on television.

Thanks George. W.P.E. (Worst. President. Ever.)

4. And because Amurrrkans are cursed with little patience and short attn spans
Once the Dems possibly get close to some restoration (this is a DEEEEEEP hole, people), the Goops'll claim they can do a better job and maybe get back in office to dig us beyond DEEEEEEP.

Sorry for the pessimism but history...

3. I think China is on the right
track. Hu is really clamping down on embezzlement and corruption. He recently issued an ultimatum on the theft of social security funds. I don't think they are perfect by any means but China is headed in the right direction.

Russia on the other hand has me concerned, Putin's insistence to stay in the political arena after his term ends is an ominous sign of what's to come.
