All it does is tell the folks in the South that it's ok to vote for Democrats now. Also, if they dare to start attacking Pelosi because of her "San Francisco" values, just remind them how conservative the House is now and Pelosi is the head conservative now. Since the House is so conservative, every single piece of Democratic legislation should be A-ok for Dubya to sign and for the minority party to support fully, anything less than that is abandoning their conservative values now isn't it?
