I was just thinking about something. With the Dems taking control

of the House, all Committees get new Chairmen. The one that REALLY has be interested is
THE ETHICS COMMITTEE!!!!!


Do you have any idea how many Pubs are loosing a lot of sleep becausethe Dems will control the ETHICS COMMITTEE!!!!!!

I guess I can assume this committee will actually DO SOMETHING NOW!!!

1. They share the chair of that committee

I heard it discussed on the tv today. The chair isn't the majority party. One is a Dem and one is an R. that committee is even.

3. I think it will be comprised of 2 Democrats and 1 Republican.

But, since we have control...it will be quite busy and I think we will see a lot of investigations happen there. Unfortunately for Republicans, most of the focus will be on their members. Paging Mr. Lewis, paging Mr. Lewis.

2. Ethics committee is divided, but I'm awaiting the results of the Foley

mess. Pelosi has talked about lobbying reform, and I sure hope ethics reform might be re-introduced. Dems tried to pass something last year to no avail, after Abramoff, I think.
