Schwarzenegger says Democratic win is healthy
http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews.aspx?type=politicsNews&storyid=2006-11-09T183332Z_01_N09405128_RTRUKOC_0_US-USA-ELECTIONS-SCHWARZENEGGER.xml&src=rss&rpc=22

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of few Republicans to shine at the mid-term elections, said on Thursday the Democratic victories were healthy for U.S. politics. "I think it is good that there are new ideas and new blood because Washington was stuck. They could not move forward, not much was accomplished; I think it was terrible," he told reporters on a trip to Mexico.

Former bodybuilder and star of the "Terminator" action movies, Schwarzenegger won reelection by a landside on Tuesday after distancing himself from President George W. Bush and adopting moderate positions on some issues. At the same time, Democrats took a majority of seats in the House of Representatives and appeared set to win dominance in the Senate, which would give the party control of both houses of Congress for the first time in 12 years.

Schwarzenegger said fellow Republicans could now learn from his change of tack and work with Democrats.

"If anyone in Washington or anyone from other states looks at that, hopefully they got the message also," he said.

1. Arnie knows how to not bite the hand that feeds him
I'm sorry that California has to endure him for another 4 years but at least his political career will be done after that. We can expect him to start shooting Terminator 4 in 2010.

3. he will run against Barbara Boxer in 2010
once you get a taste of power, you can't get it out of your system.

I'm afraid we haven't heard the last of Arnold.

6. I think he can win another term
unless he does something drastic.

He's a repuke in a very DEM state that won re-election in a very blue year. I don't think his career is done.

10. Okay, what is he going to do after the Governor's mansion?
Maybe he can run against if California doesn't have term limits. But he constitutionally can't run for President. He's a complete moron so he has no place in the cabinet or in the bureaucracy, likewise he isn't smart enough to be RNC Chairman. The NRSC can try and convince him to run against Boxer but she will kick his ass.

His political career will be over after he's done as Governor and we'll look back at it and laugh like we did with Jesse Ventura.

2. Sometimes he shows a distinct sense of intelligence.
With repubs in full control, nothing was getting done. Nothing positive.

Checks and balances.

Trouble is, is he being truthful? I do not know enough about his leadership in California to know if he has been bipartisan-friendly in the past or not. The fact he distanced himself for the election shows a petty form of intelligence, but knowing his actions before the '06 election is what will determine him to be true to his words. And let's hope the Californians remembered that too.

His yapping is getting on my nerves.
Fuck the govenator and the neocons who
placed him in power.
Where exactly is the money due to Cali-fohrn-ya
from Enron Ahrnold?
And why were you meeting with Enron in Santa Monica
before the shit hit the fan and you were appointed
Govenator by Poppy Bushe's friends?
