Lets not disgrace George Burns' and Gracie Allen's memory by invoking the names of repukes in the same idiom.

"Burns and Allen" = wonderful people
"Rep. Senators Allen and Burns" = douchebags.

That is all.

5. Correction: "Sen. Allen and Sen. Burns" = maggot shit
A douchebag serves a useful purpose.

6. Gracie "ran" against FDR!
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,20910-2406819,00.html

SEVEN YEARS before Senator Hillary Clinton was born, a female public figure with a somewhat controversial profile in the American press launched a campaign for the presidency against Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Endorsed by the “Surprise Party”, she wooed the public with hundreds of radio and TV appearances, and, most famously, a 30-stop train journey from Hollywood to Omaha. Her name was Gracie Allen — an Irish-Catholic folk-dancer, famous at the time for a comic double act with her husband, George Burns. “It’s in the bag!” was Gracie’s farcically overconfident election slogan.

7. Gracie RULED!
All George had to do was walk out onstage with her and ask "How's your brother?" From there on, it was sublime madness.
