Wisdom from one of the founding fathers
Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 09:10 PM by darkism
"A little patience, and we shall see the reign of witches pass over, their spells dissolve, and the people, recovering their true sight, restore their government to its true principles. It is true that in the meantime we are suffering deeply in spirit, and incurring the horrors of a war and long oppressions of enormous public debt. If the game runs sometimes against us at home we must have patience till luck turns, and then we shall have an opportunity of winning back the principles we have lost, for this is a game where principles are at stake."

-Thomas Jefferson 1798

It's been on my Facebook for months now, and I haven't seen anyone post it. Whatever you may say of Jefferson's character, it's certainly very applicable. :)

The people have recovered their sight and the spells are dissolving! Onward to the White House in 2008!

1. Speaking of Facebook, one of my freeper former classmates
posted this amazingly hysterical rant in a note earlier. I just laughed. :)
