Majority of Conn. voters vote FOR the war because the are making a living from it.

They basicly voted for their wallets, so it is no mystery how to best get rid of that incentive is to make sure all government contracts in the future are steared away from there.

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., was awarded on Jan. 13, 2006, a $341,302,911 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for UH-60L and UH-60M Blackhawk Helicopters. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 4, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).

This was a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 4, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0006).

Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on March 25, 2005, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-06-C-0069).

1. The majority of CT workers do not work for Sikorsky alone
True, they have a lot of employees, who get a lot of gov't money. But I'd bet you that more Lieberman votes came out of the older, retired, status-quo conservative types than out of Sikorsky's employees.
