Are we allowed to say it now? Can we drop the happy warrior schtick? In the past six years, we've seen the deficit explode like never before in the history of the country. A flaming bra-burner nominated to the Supreme Court, only to be replaced by a (hopefully) stealth conservative. The most inept State Department in the history of the United States. (Clinton's wasn't incompetent; they were flat-out fifth columnists.) 20 million new illegal aliens, and barely-contained glee that the election-day losses mean we can welcome another 50 million in.

And I hate to say this, but when we won the war in Iraq, I was praying for my friend who was an MP, fearing for his safety in the dangerous house-to-house searches. And then they never came. So I put joyful trust that the military didn't need to do such a dangerous task. Then came the insurgency. And bold optimism. And more violence. And more bold optimism. But, um, after 3,000 of America's finest dead, it becomes plainly apparent that Rummy and Bush simply didn't realize that disarming the terrorists was necessary.

So can we say it now?

That Bush is the most incompetent Republican ever?

15. I heard Republicans....
...all day long, spouting off all kinds of bullshit like that.

I was a poll runner today, so I was in the car a lot. I listened to Limbaugh, Hannity, etc--and they
were all saying that the Republicans were doing splendiferishly. Rove was on Hannity--and he said that
he KNEW that the Reps would take the House and Senate. Hannity also had on Gingrich and Mehlman. Both
said that Republicans were closing the gap and that they would retain the House and Senate.

Limbaugh and the rest of the getalong gang were spouting off identical talking points.

I was VERY concerned, because it seemed that they were being cocky, due to their collective
vote-stealing apparatus. All of them endlessly discussed how wrong exit polls were, and not
to pay attention to them. I was convinced the election would be stolen again.

In the end--the Republicans weren't stealing. They were lying. They were lying to their base,
hoping that if they pumped them up enough (with outrageous false hope) that they would go out
and vote.

All of that "I KNOW we're gonna win!" bull was part of a strategy to control their sheeple and
whip up their base--which isn't as gullible as in previous years.

I'd like to play that Rove "The Math" quote many times over. It makes the architect look like
a fool now.

6. I posted that.
I'm posting most of the anti-Puke stuff over there right now.

I'm gonna keep it up until they get all of my accounts.

Until then, I'm going to control the discussions.

Edited on Wed Nov-08-06 02:47 AM by BattyDem
a Freeper sees the light. That's interesting. I have to wonder ... did he ever truly believe in Bush** or did he simply enjoy being on the winning team? Is winning all that matters to them? Are they so insecure that they need to be on the winning team, even if that team is doing horrible things to their country?

Pathetic! :eyes:

14. "...Clinton's wasn't incompetent; they were flat-out fifth columnists...???

"columnists???"

What the hell does that mean?

"...The most inept State Department in the history of the United States. (Clinton's wasn't incompetent; they were flat-out fifth columnists.)"

Even a Spell checker wouldn't help on that one!

Btw, you might want to add a space or something (maybe before the.com) to disable that link, the admins don't like us giving them any additional links or hits
