of important issues. Sane discourse made all the difference. Focusing on REAL ISSUES and how the decisions made in D.C. affect real people is the way to take the high ground and restore decent leadership.

Thank you, sir. Your courage and vitality truly made a difference.

Thanks, so very much.

24. I wish we could send him something...flowers...
a token of appreciation for his very courageous work.

One of the hallmarks of being an actor traditionally is being "on" and looking and appearing to be "perfect"--creating and sustaining the Hollywood fantasy. While he doesn't work as much as an actor anymore, the tremendous humility it took for him to do what he did on behalf of forwarding stem cell research...it's just so beyond words.

He has truly become the antithesis of what so much of acting in Hollywood can be.

Bravo, Mr. Fox!

38. Huge thanks to MJF and all those who can no longer speak about it
As one whose mother has both Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, my opinion is that help can't come soon enough for countless others.

Now let's all get behind Embryonic Stem Cell Research and help stop the pain and needless disease caused by the ignorance, propaganda and short-sightedness of so-called "Pro-lifers".

51. IMO Dems must not forget what MJ Fox has done for us.
We could easily have lost MO and MD without Fox's appeals for Independents to turn out and vote for candidates that support the most promising (embryonic) stem cell research.

IMO one of the first hearings Democrats call should be on bills for Federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, and MJ Fox should be the lead witness. Then IMO he should get DOUBLE what he asks for.
