ABC spinning for Rethugs

Just caught a glimpse of ABC's election night coverage, and Charlie Gibson and company were just spinning for the Rethugs.

They noted that George Allen is ahead so far, and they said what a "deep disappointment" it will be for the Democrats to lose that seat, b/c they had counted on picking it up. That was the basic jist of what they were saying.

And I immediately thought, what a load of crap! It's only been in closing weeks that the VA Senate race has tightened the way it did.

They are saying that Dems are winning because Repubs are losing. Americans don't really want Dems; they just don't want repubs. :eyes:

They've been spinning it that way for awhile now. ("If Dems win, it'll be through no fault of their own.")

They will NEVER admit any gains the Democratic party makes involve getting our act together and working our asses off.
