Missouri-McAskill defeats Talent

Montana-Tester-Tester defeats Burns

Rhode Island- Whitehouse Defeats Chaffee

Dems 51- GOPU-49

A dispassionate person would say I was being too optimistic.

I called every race for the Democrat even MD which I didn't mention...

6. But Lieberman *will* caucus with Dems.
He's too engrained in the Dem leadership to do otherwise. Many who are in the know are saying the same.

I don't like it. And I continue to hope that the polls are wrong and Lamont will win. But I'm resigned to the inevitability of a Lieberman win. I wish it were not true.

But given all this, Lieberman/Lamont is a null sum game for Dems gaining the majority.
