Has there ever been a public figure with the audacity to lecture us
about conduct - who was not finally found to be a complete hypocrite?

Yes, I do include Bill Bennett.

It seems that the higher these hypocrites push themselves, the lower they finally fall.

1. I think you left out a qualifier.
'Republican', or 'conservative' public figure.

2. Absolutely right.
And I was really mad at Wolf Blitzer last week, or the week before when he was saying how the voters do not trust the ethics of Republicans or Democrats. I "talked back" to him that Democrats never pretended to be the party of "moral values" to mind what is going in people's bedrooms.

4. Yep, that makes my blood boil.
Now that the MSM is finally starting to call the repukes on their lies and dirty tricks, they can't leave it at that. No, they have to fall back on that lame old canard 'both parties are the same; both parties do it!'

BS.

3. They made hypocrisy into an art. And laughed at their duplicity. Sick.
