MORE GREAT NEWS!!! Rethugs keep falling...
Edited on Sat Nov-04-06 03:49 PM by RiverStone
Here is more recent good news to support the arrival of that big BLUE WAVE on Tuesday:

http://www.rawstory.com/showoutarticle.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.talkleft.com%2Fstory%2F2006%2F11%2F4%2F121542%2F712

And check out all the "enthusiastic faces" in the crowd! Can you find one????

Folks, we are going to take the House, most of the governorships, and at least a 50% chance of the Senate too.
The signs of hope are so compelling; I remain steadfast in my optimism. The rethug lies have been exposed and have finally reached the light of day in middle America. Too many people see it.

The finish line is just ahead. Damn, its gonna be sweet!

:toast:

And if you want to do even more to ensure the results, check this out:

1. I'm predicting the House will be 235-200
And the Senate 51-49. The House number could go bigger than that, but that's the estimate I think fits best.

2. I'm on shpilkes...
We're going to take the House, although the size of the change is open to question. The Senate is still too close to call, and I worry about taking it by a one vote margin where that one vote is Joe Lieberman.

3. I am not going to relax until after Bush's trial for crimes against humanity.
Even if the elections are fair and we take the congress, we are still in for a very rough time.

4. We aren't gonna take squat if we relax. We need to GOTV like crazy.
Bring a friend to the polls with you....offer to drive people if you live in a rural or suburban area. Don't forget the elderly without transportation.

Take nothing for granted. We need to get the vote out like mad. Call your friends and relatives; remind them to go vote....!

5. Agreed.! The "relax" was a reference to the doom and gloom crowd...
Did not mean to suggest complacency. Took out "relax". Thanks.

6. I do think this is completely "do-able" but we can't get complacent.
Aside from GOTV, we've also gotta be vigilant at the polls, and pipe up if we think they're trying to disenfranchise anyone.

8. I hate to be the voice of "doom and gloom", but we still have to
worry about the Diebold factor. Frankly, I'm scared sh*tless about it.

9. Good news is no reason to relax
People in vulnerable states need to work on election protection REALLY HARD.

11. I worry about the use of the word "Wave"
If it's not a "wave," then we won't have met expectations, and it will be characterized as ---- Dems Lose Again. Why couldn't the Dems take advantage of the unrest in America? They are incompetent.----

I'll be happy with a simple majority (in both Houses, of course.) But, let's keep expectations low.
