Let's let them know that no money for Dems who don't filibuster.
If your Senator doesn't filibuster, send your contributions to Senators from other states who do. Don't even vote for him/her in the primary.

This is the difference between tyranny and democracy. Once Alito is seated, he'll back all Bush does and we'll be in a dictatorship.

2. That's great. Really great. Dems have really no way of stopping
Bush from appointing a judge in the end. We know Repukes are ruthless and they will send up another alito, then another. And the news will have been taken over by the filibuster.

I'd rather watch:

Abramoff
Corruption-gate
Intel-gate
Iraq quagmire
Democracy spreading in the Middle East
Niger Yellowcake story
Delay
Fitzmas
Frist
Bush make speeches
Murtha make speeches
Campaign finance reform
Bush Drug plan tank and be talked about
etc.

Because concentrating on this will actually result in more Dem voters in 2006. While a filibuster will just end in Bush appointing Alito #3 in the end. It is a no win.

3. You can watch that stuff all you want
Once * has the court stacked his way, all that isn't going to make one bit of difference.

4. Tell it to your congressmen and local reps, too!
Get them involved. Let the Democrats at the state level know, you are holding the ENTIRE Democratic Party responsible.

If Democratic Senators start getting calls and telegrams from Democrats elected at a local and state level, it will make a difference.

5. And support any opposing primary candidate. Tell them that if they betray
us, they are finished.
