Can't our senators say we MADE them filibuster?

Here's a way for timid senators to support the filibuster without wetting their pants. They can say that while they originally intended to vote FOR cloture, they got so much input from their constituents that they can't do so without offending their base.

Even the MSM and the Rethugs ought to understand that.
