I'm looking for a little help. I'm not the most technologically skilled nor am I yet familiar with how to really use all the functions within DU. I am looking for past threads I remember reading that pertain to the torture bill and the subsequent posse comitatus bill. I have an opportunity to open a few sets of eyes among some friends and co-workers who are becoming receptive to the truth for the first time and could use some ammo. Can someone please help steer me in the right direction?

Good first post. Scared to death someone jumps all over your case? Eh you'll get over it.

I don't have a link but do mention this to them- There is no proof that torture works. Some say yes but most say no and if you will notice the MainStreamMedia (MSM) has stopped asking that question. Now what does work is interrogation but no one likes to bring up that centuries old and refined practice that works quite well. Basically they wrote a law to cover for them after they got caught redhanded.

I have stood too quietly as the minority progressive in this circle of people and am not going to do it any longer. My window of opportunity centers around their belief that the bills "only apply to terrorists" and not U.S. citizens. I am going to rock their world with facts.
