Who in the media will put Kerry comments in perspective?

What percentage of the voters will change their minds or be diverted by this story? Will they look back next Wednesday and say, "Oh my God, did I do it again?!" Are the voters that gullible? I think that is what we most fear? The voters inability to know when they are being "played" for fools?
