Kerry is in Switzerland?

How exactly is a filibuster going to happen when they are already voting?

Please explain to me I've been away from the computer all day

9. Not a vote. Graphic is re: "publically stated intent". The real stuff
happens later - looks like Mon/Tue at this point but who knows? There was some sparring today about bringing a vote...

6. no, only showing intent to vote
They're showing who has officially declared his/her vote so far. Confirmation vote will be Tuesday, provided the cloture vote on Monday goes their way.

8. That's what I just heard too and this puke worthy bit
Frist said they will confirm him on tuesday so it can happen right before the mighty emperor's "state of the lies" speech. Victory is all they ever care about. They are the real traitors of this country.

10. There are three stages of votes....
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 07:05 PM by higher class
What is showing on C-Span is a stated position indicating how the Senator has stated they will vote.

Then, there is the cloture vote to end DEBATE. Monday? This is the 61-39 one?

If Repubs succeed in gaining cloture and nothing else happens .... the vote they take will be the official one. It's a 51-49 one. Tuesday, according to Frist.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Let's hope there will never be a final vote on this guy. Let's hope Dems succeed.

Frist will be going crazy trying to end debate.
