Football in "blackface", no I'm not kidding!

Seems that some in Ohio don't find "blackface" to be racist, just maybe a little insensitive. This is from the Akron Beacon Journal

HUDSON - Teams in two Cleveland suburbs are quitting a youth football league because of racially insensitive actions by fans, coaches said.

The president of the Hudson Hawks Youth Football Association, John Elffers, has apologized for fans who wore Afro wigs and painted their faces black at a playoff game Sunday. Shaker Heights coach Jeffrey Saffold said Hudson fans also used a racially offensive word during Sunday's game and at two other times.

Elffers said that the Hudson fans' actions were foolish and insensitive but not intended to insult or offend.

1. What they need to do, for next year

is tell the Hudson Hawks Youth Football club, that they will be suspended from playing football next year, I know that the kids will be punished, but this crap needs to be dealt with severely. This is not European Soccer.

4. i have heard a lot lately, too sensitive, dont take offense,.....

just a joke....

this last week i have had four different people attack female one way or another, and if i dare to speak out i am being too pc, too sensitive. or the start of a joke and the person says, now dont take offense... wtf? i told the person, the point you have to say that, before a joke, you know there is something to take offense with

a lot of this bullshit going on today.

then i am told why i shouldnt be so snesitive, or a gay shouldnt be so sensitive.... not that the white male has a clue about being female or gay... and thinking if i made a comment about the knuckle dragging white male, they would be offended. they would have issue. they wouldnt think it funny
