Opponents react to Michael J. Fox stem-cell ad
ST. LOUIS - Days after Michael J. Fox, whose acting career has been curtailed by Parkinson's disease, appeared in a TV ad urging Missouri voters to support stem cell research, opponents will unveil their own commercial using athletes and entertainers to convey their message.

Click on the "launch" feature to see the ad. I was surprised to see the individuals involved with the video. Others I obviously wasn't.

1. It's already out:
Right Wing Hollywood made a commercial to counter Michael J. Fox's.....

Vote this thing down on youtube.com, and do yourself a favor: never support anything any of these assholes is a part of. I only recognize 2 of their "stars".

17. Kurt Warner, NFL quarterback, was one of the guys, and Jim
Caviezel (sp?) who played Jesus in Mel Gibson's movie.

And they'd like to see it banned as soon as possible.

6. You might be surprised by the answer to that.
I don't know how each of them feels, but I would expect a few of them to hold that opinion...

8. To me the ad looks very lame. The production quality is just a step

above amateur. (I especially love the brick wall behind that one guy's head--way to look like a mug shot!) I think the "base" will have their "convictions" reaffirmed, but I doubt this ad will sway undecideds. Michael J. Fox's appeal is far more convincing and powerful!

10. Warner says it will take 15 years.
So what? That doesn't mean we stop researching. Lot's of scientific research takes time.

20. Okay I got a good idea
Lets use a has been QB who doesn't even play here anymore, a mediocre pitcher who should be focusing on the next game and not worry about this, and Patricia Heaton from a has-been show that couldn't book another gig because she is such a bitch. Lets put them in an ad against Michael J. Fox, an entertainer who is beloved by many people...sounds like a great idea.
