2. Oh, puhleeeze...
Nothing's going to change in any significant way.
It's just not gonna happen.
The Dems may capture the House by a few seats, and the Senate by one or two, (not likely) but it's just gonna mean two years of deadlock while Bush and his military pursue their final solution in Iraq and their privatization plans in the US (by fucking everything up).
Nothing's gonna stop them.
Maybe in 2008 the pendulum will swing back, but not before then.

Get used to it...

3. Impeachment coming up
At the very least, as Nancy Pelosi says: making Bush and Chaney lame ducks is a good goal.

4. for me, if it happens, it's the Dem's last chance
I keep being guilted into voting solely for the D (Bill Nelson is my senator, I freaking hate him). I'm told "but then we will head committees, blah blah blah, and real change can happen"....soooo I voted early. Voted Dem strait down. If they take back the government from the criminals and do jack shit I'm gone.

5. I envy your confidence in having a legitimate election Diebold dictates the winner
as the saying goes; "it matters not who you vote for only who is doing the counting"

I wonder if Bush's cousin once again (2004) will announce the winners from state to state
