12. O'Lielly got hit with a sexual harassment suit...
He was harassing one of his employees over the phone, talking about using a loofah on her, only he called it a 'falafel.
Disgusting.

So who's the crazy one?

21. Hmmm.... have to try it out.

Actually, the 'disgusting' comment was in regard to O'Lielly's slimeball attitude that was evident throughout the commentary.
I had a whole big damn long 'splanation about this...
then deleted it cos it seemed too long and boring.

Now, about that falafel...:loveya:

3. Old retard/looneytarian/sneering fat cat argument
and the truth is that you can still find workable color TVs with remotes at thrift shops for $25.

What poor people can't afford is nutritious food, basic health care, saving for a rainy day (let alone for retirement) and safe housing.

THAT is what makes them poor, not the thrift shop TV they rely on for 100% of their entertainment needs.

5. Duh, because the price of color TV has plummeted since color TV
was a luxury. I would be willing to bet you would be hard pressed to find a B&W TVs for sale

7. Hey, Falafel head.....
...when the poor live in a 15,000 square foot house in Palm Beach then your blatherings and verbal flatulence will make sense. Until then, fuck off, buckethead.

11. Do they still make black & white sets?
I didn't know it was an option. You can pick up a crummy color TV set at a thrift store or garage sale for $20 or so. I'll bet black & white sets fetch more for being "antique"

13. Price of color TV: $100, price of food for one week, family of 3: $150
Price of cancer treatment: depending upon type $100,000- x millions.

Mr. O'Reilly, the things that matter are far more expensive than a color TV.

15. Isn't that the same tired old line
that John Stoessel uses. "All these people in this soup line claim they're poor, but if you ask any one of them, they all admit to having
color TV and microwave ovens...So really , how poor, is poor?".

It's ridiculous, a small TV and Microwave can be found on Ebay for less than it costs to fill up your gas tank for the week.

Hell I saw a brand new microwave oven at the local discount store for $29.95 brand new, new VCR players are about that cheap as well.

17. Yep, no doubt.
The fact is though it's not like the 60's and 70's when a color set was hundereds of dollars. A 25" color set now is around $100, with a 20" around $75-80. Lets not forget you can pick one up at a yard sale for $10-25 bucks.

I can buy a color tv cheaper than 3lbs of steak. 20" used color set = $25, 3lbs of ribeye = $30.

then why do conservatives whine about taxes in the top bracket being too high? By their own admission, they don't really need the money.

You can get 27" Color TVs out of the dumpster around here. People are tossing them for their flat screens. Same goes for monitors.
