Al Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ inspires Dutch Prime Minister, Blair, EU
(apologies in advance for the horrible translation)

After seeing ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende contacted Tony Blair with a proposal to give Global Warming a much higher priority in the European Union. Both leaders agreed to send a letter to EU–leader Matte Vanhanen of Finland in order to do so. The letter was also send to other EU members.

Balkenende said yesterday that the movie was ‘inspiring’ and of ‘utmost importance’. He further said that the movie gave a good indication of the current situation and that the issues it addresses are to important to be ignored.

The letter of Balkenende / Blair to Matte:

1. Ah, good, the EU is on the case.
These guys need to stop waiting for somebody else to do something about the problem and do something about it themselves.

Tony, are you listening?

4. Finland is already proactive on energy
so it is hopeful that the EU will respond vigorously.

6. Save the planet and continue to allow massacres of humans.
Sorry, though I'm happy about the recognition and the implied praise for Al Gore, I'm bitter today about the no holds killing of humans by hypocrites everywhere.

Let all the decent, human leaders in the world rise up.

Let the killers go finish off the frogs.
