1. I wish it could be me.
How about a mass citizens' arrest?

8. That was my thought too... I want to be the one!
What a fantasy! I see him cowering before me, whining and trying to cover his face with his coat as he is lead away in handcuffs. I of course stay behind to speak to the press and list the crimes he is being arrested for... Wow. I am good!

(slappity slappity). Ok. Back to reality...

9. The best perp walk ever.
Even if it can't be me that makes the bust, I at least want to watch it on my teevee, while I cheer and drink expensive champagne.

3. the last scenario isn't probable
for several reasons

- George had never been abroad before he was President. It's not likely he changes that when out of office.
- to be arrested abroad an international warrant must be issued by some judge. It makes it very likely that he doesn't travel.

Of course a US court could grant extradition, but it's not likely either. But he could be judged and sentenced in the US.

The only solution is abduction. Well the Israeli have done that, and it was considered OK. Of course there could be formal diplomatic protests. Besides rendition is legal nowadays.

6. The first scenario isn't likely
since as an Ex-President he will have 24/7 Secret Service protection and isn't likely to drive himself anywhere.

Or maybe, no one will want to be around him...

11. I realize that this is one of the Democrats' wet dreams,
and maybe it will occur in a different reality, but not in this one. If we retake either or both Houses, then the dreaming time is over and the responsibility for being an integral part of governing begins. We will no longer be able to blame the Republicans for anything and everything that goes wrong. Come 2008 the voters will be able to hold us responsible and they might like to see some actual work done and problems solved. I realize this is about revenge, but Bush will not go gently into that good night and I hope the price that will need to be paid will be worth it. I have the feeling that if it was a choice between either having world peace or getting revenge (let's call it justice since that is so much more noble) on Bush, I have the feeling that many would choose Bush.

Let me take pre-emptive action before the accusations fly, that I am a Democrat and have been since I worked for George McGovern when I was in college and have voted Democrat ever since. I am sure that since I cannot realistically join in the blood lust for calling for Bush's scalp that I am branded a heretic by the liberal elite. I do believe that Bush deserves everything bad that is wished upon him, I just don't think it is worth the time and effort, which undoubtedly would be useless, to go after Bush when there are so many other problems to take care of. Because going after Bush will become all-consuming and other important things will go undone and the Republicans will paint the next Congress as one of revenge and as a do-nothing Congress.

19. well, a fella can dream, can't he?
Surely, some of our fellow citizens in the armed forces take their oaths to protect the constitution seriously.

Clearly, the congressional majority does not.

balls to charge him with treason or murder or war crimes or any one of the numerous crimes he has committed. FBI?
