Helen Thomas in Salt Lake City

I tried to go see Helen tonight here in Salt Lake City, where she was in town giving a talk at a local private school. I have no idea what the seating capacity was but they were turning away people at the door for lack of room. Not even standing room only left. I saw 20 - 30 people, at least, leaving (including, unfortunately, me.)

Anyone go? Was she as great in person as I would imagine?

2. Well, a few years back, Orem welcomed Michael Moore

Just north of Provo (home of BYU) sits Orem, home of the Utah Valley State College. Against much condemnation (and a $25,000 attempt to bribe the college into canceling the show) UVSC had Moore come and address a crowd of about 8 thousand, and only a handful were there to detract.

It was quite fun, but I ended up getting a death threat at work because I was interviewed by the college paper, which ran my photo.

BTW - the place of business was MyFamily.com, the online genealogy site. They did absolutley nothing about the threat. If you're researching your family history, try another source. They suck.
