What will it take to wake the US public up
President Bush is in the midst of a campaign-style effort to show that he has broken out of his White House bubble, and three times this month he has taken unscreened questions from audiences that appear to have been chosen largely at random, rather than for their qualities as cheerleaders.

At a session here Monday at Kansas State University, after talking about terrorism and wiretapping and Iraq, Iran and China, Mr. Bush called on a questioner who said: "You're a rancher. A lot of us here in Kansas are ranchers. I was just wanting to get your opinion on 'Brokeback Mountain,' if you've seen it yet."

While the White House was loath to put Mr. Bush in settings like these in the 2004 campaign, he actually handles them with far more ease than he did earlier in his presidency. He certainly had an easier time here than President Richard M. Nixon did in September 1970, when huge protests by students and faculty members greeted his visit to explain his Vietnam policy.

In 1970 the number one issue by far was Vietnam and the students and faculty were up in arms.

Times have certainly changed.

5. The draft.
These short-sighted lizards know that the draft will kill their Imperial rule.
They will instead abuse the volunteer military to their breaking point - and then re-deploy those who are 'gone'.

The Administrations God is waiting at the gates.... they will receive draft notices.

6. It was a screened audience
The questions were not pre-screened, but everyone in the audience was.

a virulent pandemic, a major environmental disaster on par with New Orleans, a disasterous escallation of the Middle East war.

That's what it historically takes for these types to let go of power.

And Bush & the Republicans seem to be trying hard to hit the trifecta.

12. Three things would have to occur simultaneously:
1) Gas prices jump 120%
2) Wide-scale television and cell-phone outage
3) Prescription drug shortfall

you get those three things concurrently or even in quick succession (i.e., within a weekend) and I guarantee you the revolution will be here by the following Tuesday.

13. add to that list the price of food rising enough to hurt . . .
which, with the continuing increase in gas prices, is inevitable . . . it costs money to transport food products, and since supermarkets operate on a razor-thin profit margin, those costs MUST be passed on to the consumer as they are incurred . . .

14. When you have been abused repeatedly
you tend to want to stay far away from your abuser.

I believe Americans are shell-shocked, unable to comprehend the scope and magnitude of the damage done to their nation in five short years.

They are hiding from the truth, hoping somebody else will fix things.

And there's no way to count the number who believe that their enemies are actually divinely chosen gods among men. They have been bewitched by bigoted preachers and blowhard, racist, psychologically twisted talk hosts and news anchors.

I don't know what it will take, but I know that the days of the "W" sticker are gone in these parts. I haven't heard one person say anything nice about ** in a lo-o-o-ong time. But most of the people I talk with don't even know who Sam Alito is - even college educated people.

it is going to take a blow job

Because that really threatens our freedom and is the ONLY thing worthy of impeachment
