How far will KO's speech reverberate ?
Will it impact anything else that is going on? Or will it be lost in all the hoopla about Foley and the pages? I agree the Foley story is great for Democrats as for political advantage but there are more important stories out there. I'm hoping that someone else points out the lies of George W Bush. Why have they been hesitant to do so. He makes a straw man argument out of every frigging issue. Olberman nailed his ass to the wall.

1. I think the other networks will have to address the quandary
Olbermann's newfound popularity puts them in, especially CNN.

3. He's fearless ...

but I fear for him.

As long as he's the only one who will stand up and shout the truth he's extremely vulnerable. I hope more journalists will be emboldened by his courage and integrity ... and will be inspired to join their voices with his in finally telling the truth of this Administration to the American people.

He is exposing them and they will not allow him to continue unanswered. I have to believe Rove and Cheney have people digging for anything they can find to TRY to discredit and destroy Keith. As we all know ... they are not above manufacturing material if nothing damaging can be found.

I also fear that some rabid wingnut will see it as their mission to silence him.

He isn't safe out there on his own ... and I'm sure he knew that when he started. He really IS an American Hero. Be safe, Keith ... and thanks.

2. Not as far
as we would hope,I'm afraid.
Seeing how most of the media is in active collusion with these war criminals I would be surprised if many in the media even mention it.And the ones that do will be pulling out all the stops to destroy the big O.
As for the internets,I think that you are right-it will be lost in all the clamor over the pedophile and his pedoprotectors.

4. KO's speech is one for the history books.

He's saying just exactly what we've all known and we've been trying to say, for years! The TRUTH will set us free! I hope that is STILL the case in America!

Edit...I had to stay up and watch it again and now I'm wide awake.

5. Word is getting around about
Keith. I remember just last year DU seemed to be the only ones watching him. I would tell people to listen and would get the 'I don't watch mainstream media' from them. We here always knew he was special. Now I get a few emails everytime he is on, links to crooksandliars to listen to him. Word of these special comments is spreading. Earlier this week I felt bad that the whole sordid Foley affair was the thing that people were going to decide this election about. But all the other things that are so much more important will be there awaiting investigations (with supoenas!) if we win this so if this gets us Conyers as chair of the Judiciary Committee so be it. It will validate the judgement of the vote, people can feel that they made the right decision. It all goes to the character of the conservatives, just how hypocritical and un-American they are and people will know.
