15. Just watched it on our second local PBS station

Moyers did a great job of making the scandals comprehensible.

It was hard to know which one was the worst, but I'd have to go for the lobbying to prevent U.S. minimum wage, labor, and immigration laws from applying to the Mariana Islands, so that clothing companies could run sweatshops with imported laborers who were kept in slave-like conditions.

The part about playing the Indian tribes with casinos off against each other, all the while mobilizing the fundies to oppose gambling, was pretty disgusting, too.

What a bunch of sociopaths. That's what they are, sociopaths pure and simple. Even Norman Orenstein at the end of the broadcast was pretty disgusted, and that's saying a lot, since he's one of the most prominent talking heads of the American Enterprise Institute.

Honestly, I still can't wrap my mind around these politicians condoning these sorts of conditions. If the American public knew of these atrocities being committed in OUR name and under OUR flag, These bastards would be in prison and the keys would be thrown away.
