At least, 14 American soldiers dead in 48 hours,...who knows how many,....
,...permanently maimed, and,...how horrifying the number of Iraqi people killed/maimed BUT FOR (I REPEAT, "BUT FOR") this insane administration's greed and lust for power via an immoral, unjust, abusive war.

Pray. Please, pray with me. Pray my brother makes it home next month. Pray he makes it home, whole. Pray the people, our people, force political change, force political responsibility/honesty/integrity. If you don't pray, imagine. Imagine and act with me to force change towards political responsibility/honest/integrity.

6. I appreciate your receptiveness.
My brother served as a Marine for B1. Now, is serving as a member of our National Guard. He's 35 and a wonderful human being. I can't imagine how torn he must be, knowing him as an open and intelligent, loving and caring man. I doubt he'll be ever be whole but he has great capacity to cope, as we all must develop in this crazy period of our history.

I keep reminding myself that, some lessons and any wisdom are learned/acquired through hardship and tragedy, which can either strengthen or weaken but ultimately teach us about ourselves.

7. What's it gonna take
Only people can stop this. It's beyond conventional politics. What's it gonna take for people to get in the streets and shut it down? Only that will stop this, nothing else.

8. My thoughts will be with your brother. My nephew came back
about a year ago; he's a Marine and only has a little over 2 years before he retires. He was also in the Gulf War, and he too is a kind and gentle man who only wants to help people - I really can't imagine him in a war - he'd be the one taking care of the abandoned little dog or cat. I hope and pray that your brother returns without a scratch on him. And that him for serving our country even under these circumstances. This is in no way his fault.

11. I understand your point of view.
It must require great strength to cope with such conflict, within and without. I haven't the capacity to imagine that, quite honestly. Knowing there will be those who love me, in spite of the powers above and beyond me and placing me in such an unconscionable position,...that is what I imagine would carry me through tragedy.

10. I hate to ask this, but are the Iraqis ramping up to get the Repubs out?
They want us to leave their country and they know the Republicans never will.

Gawd, what a mess. :(

12. Such thoughts,...are beyond words, beyond feelings.

Forgiveness will take some time, and a lot of work, to earn, I imagine.
