Another horrible free trade deal coming your way in November
The rich globalization elites need more slaves for their factories, more land that they can pollute with impunity, and more Americans fighting for minimum wage jobs.

Take Action to Stop NAFTA Expansion to Peru

CONGRESS IS TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE!!

By planning a vote on the Peru-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (PUFTA) right after the November 7th election – when Congress will be in a “lame duck” session – the Bush administration and House Republican leadership are scheming to avoid public scrutiny of this hugely flawed deal, and to avoid being held accountable for their votes by outraged constituents.

We need to make sure our representatives in Congress know that we’ve heard about this sneaky November vote plan – and that we demand they announce their position on PUFTA before the elections.

Here's what you can do:

1. Call your Representative - at the U.S. Capitol at (202) 224-3121 and ask to be connected to your Representative; tell them you think a NAFTA style Peru Free Trade Agreement deal is a bad idea. Click here for talking points.

2. Write to your Representative - Put your concerns into writing and urge your Representative to oppose the Peru-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. Click here to use our sample letter and send directly to your Representative and Senators.

3. Write a letter to the editor of your local paper - Letters show your Representative that you are paying attention to their votes, and are also a great way to get the word out to your local community! Click here for tips.

4. Bird-dog! - Confront your Representative in person about the Peru-U.S. Free Trade Agreement. Click here for how to voice your concerns and get noticed.

5. Get your group to sign a resolution - Whether it is a local or national association, resolutions hold much more weight than a phone call or letter from an individual constituent. Click here for suggestions and tips.

6. Sign our petition - Click here to read and sign the petition asking Congress to oppose the Peru-U.S. Free Trade Agreement.

1. If it's good for Bush/GOP, it's bad for America. They just never
give up.

We need to send them all packing.
