WHY IN THE HELL HAS FOLEY NOT BEEN ARRESTED YET?!?! HE COMMITTED A FELONY
He communicated with at least one of the pages, WHEN HE WAS BACK IN FLORIDA. In the state of Florida, it is a 2nd DEGREE FELONY to ask anyone under the age of 18 to perform sexually, including the exposure of the genitals (see: http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0827/SEC071.HTM&Title=-%3E2005-%3ECh0827-%3ESection%20071#0827.071 )

Under that law, he could server up to 15 YEARS IN FL PRISON. HE NEEDS TO HAVE ALL HIS COMPUTERS CONFISCATED AND SEARCHED NOW! FOLEY, AND EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN WHO COVERED FOR HIM, NEEDS TO BE ARRESTED NOW!!!!

1. Well come on...you are supposed to have sympathy for
a guy that just admitted he had an alcohol problem (after he got caught) and that he has other issues that need to be addressed (after he got caught):sarcasm:

23. Yep, he's got a problem with alcohol.
No doubt, unable to form "specific intent". Doesn't mean he can't be charged though, does it?
Betcha he's way remorseful too. Doesn't mean he can't be charged though, does it?
Sure is good that he's getting treatment, huh? Doesn't mean he can't be charged though, does it?

a while back. Don't have a link and recall little detail but I'm sure others here know what I'm talking about.

For the excellent researchers here - Did this foley reptile have any dealings with that program?

... always suspicious.

6. C'mon Guys, this is a serious question... SHOULDN'T HE BE ARRESTED NOW?!?!
I appreciate the irony/sarcasm expressed above, but let's get real, this guy is a sicko-pedophile, caught in the act, and there is no investigation. This guy needs to be perp-walked on Dateline.

8. Because he's a politician with the party in power
As much as we like to think that laws apply to everybody and that equal treatment is the standard, there is growing evidence that we don't live in such a world and never have. That's not the shocker, though, as reality rarely emulates our most immaculate ideals, but what is shocking is that there seems to be no effort to try any longer to live up to those ideals.

9. Calm down.
The authorities know where he is and he's not going anywhere.

And where were you Friday night when it was reported that his office was taped off as a crime scene?

14. I missed that story, but usually, if they are going to make someone's
office a crime scene, they usually CHARGE the person with a crime.

10. These investigations take time.
Sadly, I know this from personal experience with a devastating child abuse case.

The prosecutors must build their case carefully so it's tight and the charges stick. I don't doubt for a minute that the investigators and other law enforcement officials are taking this very seriously. Like I said, I've sadly had a "front row seat" in a child abuse case. The dedication of these people when it comes to nailing people who hurt children is something to behold.

21. I don't see how they do it.
The detective in this case I'm personally involved in told us that they finally were successful in charging someone in the death of an infant 15 years after the fact. It's hard to wait for justice, but you know these people will not give up if there's any hope of convicting the bastard who did it.

God forbid that Dateline should cover actual news anymore - it's time to skirt the legal definition of entrapment and get some child molesters on camera!
