THE DIRTY DOZEN How does the Democratic Party Excommunicate it's Traitors
Edited on Thu Sep-28-06 09:30 PM by Wiley50
C'mon. They were THAT worried of being labeled "Cut and Run"?

Or were they just Repukes in Dem clothing?

Obviously, one (you know which one) is running AGAINST the legitimate Democratic candidate

But, another, gave an impassioned speech against this bill today and raised an amendment.
I listened to him say striking Habeas was unconstitutional
And then he votes FOR the bill?

WTF?

Carper (Del.)
Johnson (S.D.)
Landrieu (La.)
Lautenberg (N.J.)
Lieberman (Conn.)
Menendez (N.J)
Pryor (Ark.)
Rockefeller (W. Va.)
Salazar (Co.)
Stabenow (Mich.)
Nelson (Fla.)
Nelson (Neb.)

3. Some of these make absolutely no sense
WTF are Lautenberg and Menendez doing voting for this POS? And Bill Nelson (FL) is going to cruise to an easy victory over Harris. So unless he truly believes torture is a good thing, WTF was he thinking? Rockefeller & Stabenow, too. Rockefeller proposed one of the freaking amendments the repukes killed. He should have listened to his elder colleague Byrd on this one. Stabenow? Since when does Michigan support torture?

7. even before i read the list of those democrats who voted for torture,
i knew that NELSON of Florida would be one. The man used to be an INSURANCE COMMISSIONER years ago in Florida. HE TRULY IS A REPUBLICAN IN DEMOCRATS' clothing. Menendez--that cuban/american from NJ ... doesn't surprise me that he is following the bush line ...but, shame, shame, shame on all of them who voted to turn our country into a sadomasochistic country, which is what the bushes are and have now turned us into.

Lieberman (Conn.)
Menendez (N.J)

Rockefeller (W. Va.)

when you claim to be americans, espousing democratic values, espousing human rights, espousing the goodness of creation and you go and vote to o.k. torture, you are talking out of both sides of your mouths.

10. Yes!
Maybe we do need to send them such a letter signed by as many of us as would like to sign it.

Maybe they would "get it" then, though, a bit too late>
