What did Wallace (or anyone else) expect Clinton to say?
Is Chris Wallace so deeply enveloped in the falsity of the Fox universe that he really thinks Bill Clinton is the non-person caricature to be mocked, lied about, and constantly torn down that Faux seems to consistently attempt to portray? He was baiting Clinton as if he weren't really there! What in the world did he expect as a response? "I was getting a b*****b and couldn't be bothered with all that terrorism stuff"?

Or was he stupid enough to think that he was going to trip up Clinton? Bill Clinton?

The people who are now criticizing Clinton for his "tirade" or "purple rage" (whatever the hell that means!) - what did they expect him to say?

I know that for some people, no matter what he says, it will be wrong, but does anyone really expect that the man won't or shouldn't defend himself against the most scurrilous of lies when they are uttered in his presence right to his face?

Wallace, emails or no, should not have asked that question that way, and having asked it, should not have been surprised when the "mountain came down in front of him."

He should go sell seeds indeed - by mail!

1. Note to self: don't piss of Bill Clinton.
Never seen him angry before. Glad I don't do Chris Wallace's laundry.

4. THAT? Wasn't even close to the rage I express, let alone to Bill's
LEGENDARY volcanic temper.

2. Sweet Irony
Not too often do you see someone on faux telling the truth and the truth is exactly what "conservatives" fear the most. Clinton was just supposed to roll over and play good democrat instead of reacting in a real, cogent manner to years of right wing garbage. His truthful sermon was fingernails on a chalkboard to all those who hold faux in high esteem.

i mean, i know faux has a script, and in it, bill clinton is the evil-est of evil. but why would they think bill would follow the script? kinda dumb on the part of chris wallace.

3. He's a TOOL.....
and lives in that insane bubble that we love to call Freeperville. History will view this time with the media as being a culture of self serving, egotistical sycophants who have been bought and sold.

5. Wallace's smirk made me want to pummel him
I've had conversations with people like that before, who were just so condescending in their look, their smirks, their eyerolls, that there was no point. When I was younger it would come to blows, now that I'm older I just walk away.

I didn't see a tirade or 'purple rage' or whatever. I saw a guy attacked by a smirking asshole, who had the temerity to actually answer the questions he was posed and defend himself.

6. Wallace didn't care what Clinton said. He just wanted to score
points with the mouth-breathers he works for and who view his insipid "show". The point was to embarrass Bill, but Bill kicked his ass. It's seems strange that all of these right-wing cretins have forgotten who they are dealing with. Bill Clinton not only could wipe the floor with their best (and Wallace ain't it), he DID wipe the floor with them for eight years! Now they are saying that Bill Clinton is mean - HA! He is the single most revered, respected, and admired man in the world and the narrow-minded, short-sighted, feeble-brained right-wingers don't understand that fact or why it is so...
