4. Peter Werbe is a true progressive just like Mike

He may not be the firebrand "let loose the rage" type of progressive as Mike is, but they are brothers in heart. That's the reason Mike recommended Peter as a fill-in when he was off or in transit. I've been listening to both since the IEamerica days and love them both. Mike isn't Peter and Peter isn't Mike. Enjoy them each for who they are. In any event, I'll be proud to stand the ramparts aside either or both.

3. Werbe will be just fine.

I'm *not* happy about losing Malloy, but if that has to happen, Werbe is much better than a lot of people they could have put in his place. E.G., Jon Iddiot.... er Elliot. :evilgrin:

My understanding is that he is a temp fill in. Has he said he's "permanent" for that slot?
