Corpses Clogged Baghdad's Sewer Plant
So many corpses were clogging the capital's main sewer plant last spring that authorities launched an inquiry, with U.S. technical assistance. Investigators discovered a macabre pattern: Manholes from as far as several miles away had been used as disposal sites, allowing the remains to course underground through broad concrete pipes along with the city's subterranean effluvia.

"It's possible some bodies were minced by the pumping system, and we never knew about them," said Ahmed Abdil Elah, assistant general manager of the city sewage system. "There is no trace of them."

The city battened down the manholes, and the ghoulish torrent ceased.

Now the bodies just show up on the streets.

Did anyone see any report about this last spring?

2. this story is so representative of Bush's little Iraqi invasion.
Just when I think that I can't be shocked further, this quagmire comes back and bites me again.

4. A few months ago I read a story & some Iraqi men were interviewed.
One man stated that he attends a funeral almost every night. That is no way to live.

5. I've always referred to the policies and personaltities of
the enemies of the citizens in this country as in the sewer or as there not being levels of sewer low enough for them.

I never imagined anything this physical. I could have never imagined it.

This is what our HALLIBURTON-LOCKHEED-BARON-MILITARY-POLITICIAN-REVEREND INVASION HAS BROUGHT. WE ARE THE SEWER COUNTRY OF PREDATORS!

The Iraqi people didn't deserve this.

Look at the hoax of the Hussein capture - digging a hole in the ground and dragging him out of the dirt and examining his teeth like a horse.

The karma coming from this is unthinkable.

7. K and R - not to be read while eating lunch. So tragic.
The U.S. has jumpstarted utter tragedy in Iraq.

Combine it with the torture, the rape of girls and oil, the massacres, the pnony policies.
