First the problem, then the solution.

Karl Roves' secret weapon has alway been the Washington insider class of Democratic commentariats, consultariats and courtiers.

They are the most brilliant political thinkers on earth, when they are promoting the Democratic class of insider commentariats, consultariats and courtiers.

Never before in history has a privileged elite in the church of insiderism, made as much money losing elections, as these inside the beltway bandits who are largely divorced from the heart and soul of what used to be the Party of the people.

At least the Republican commentariats, consultariats and courtiers make their money by winning, right?

My own vision of the Party of the people, to regain control of the government of the people, by the people, and for the people, is this: a hyper-alliance between progressive radio, the progressive internet, and the progressive grassroots to mobilize people in the interests of people, to mobilize money to mutually empower our people, and to mobilize the power of people to the cause of ideas and movements, not the cause of their commentariat, consultariat and courtier class in Washington.

Parenthetically, I will have much more to say on Air America soon, the alliance I propose will still stand when the dust is settled, but for now, understand this: the courtier and consultariat class of insiders have never been true friends of Air America or the blogs, for this reason:

Their vision is to extract as much money as they can from the true Democrats that are the real heart of the Party, take a piece of that money for their intermediary hands, then spend that money through programs that profit their business models that are often hostile to the best strategies to win elections, and the best interests of the real people in whose true interests those elections should be fought...

Let's make this a Freedom Fall, the hell with the insider and courtier class, and the hell with our grievances, and let's think like winners and act like Democrats and play to win, and we will win...

Let's lift the Democratic Party to be democratic again.

Let's lift America to be the best of America again...

1. Is this guy advocating for Unity 08? It is confusing.

He speaks of some alliance. Then he says we shouldn't donate to the party, just to candidates.

I have noticed a lot of that lately, don't give to the party. I agree that we should pick and choose who we want to support.

But we do have a part of the party that IS working for change from the usual DC stuff, and Brent is not even advocating for the DNC to get donations.

It surprised me to read that on Buzzflash, so against donating to any of the sections of the party.

This type of thing will break the back of the Democratic party. I am a "real" democrat, and I do support the DNC in its 50 state strategy. I think it is necessary, yet he appears to be advocating against donating to any of the parts of the party.

Maybe I am wrong?
