Introducing today's Bigot du Jour... Mickey Kaus!
The Slate columnist appears to be abandoning whatever sherds of liberalness once clung to him...

http://www.slate.com/id/2149332/?nav=fix

Hint: It's titled "After Pelosi... Nosotros!" :puke: The clear implication is that a Dem-led House would throw open the borders to brazillions of illegal Meskins who would take all our jobs and put more tan 12 items in the supermarket express line and stuff. :sarcasm: Note that Kaus falls into the Tweety Mathews trap of assuming that Pelosi would automatically accede to the post of Speaker should the Dems gain control.

Just one :puke: -inducing sample:

It wouldn't matter so much if this law, by establishing the principle of a "path to citizenship" for anyone who sneaks into the country to work, wouldn't run the risk of irrevocably changing the nature of the Republic, including the composition of future electorates that would decide whether to repeal it. But it would. ...

In other words, Meskins born here to immigrant parents might actually grow up and vote?! Ye gods! I'll take gay marriage as a threat the the very core of the republic any day! :sarcasm:

1. I find him annoying.
He fancies himself as some sort of intellectual but he's nothing more than another Dennis-Miller-wannabe who, like Miller, convinced himself that he's got all the answers when he doesn't know jack shit. There are some very intelligent conservatives out there (excuse me while I dodge the food and assorted other objects being thrown at me for saying that) but this guy isn't on their level. He's nowhere even close.

2. S'ok...I checked my Websters dictionary.
"Conservative" and "stupid" aren't synonymous...
anymore than the word 'liberal' is interchangeable with "intelligent".

Gotta remember that...it isn't a digital black/white, yes/no, on/off, us-vs-them issue.

Unlike Bush's worldview...:sarcasm:
