I am going to make a prediction
And say that the next terrorist attack will not come from Al Qaeda, but from within.

Hate groups and such have been getting more prominent and more powerful since 9/11, and yet the Bush Administration and the Department of Homeland Security have not been focusing on them as much as they should have been doing.

1. I'm fearful because you make a convincing case, even as I hope
there is no violence.

That's a frail, frail hope I'm holding onto in this current landscape, I realize.

Hi, ck4829. Nice to see you on DU today.

3. Seeing this guy in NY stockpiling weapons and shooting cops

4. The Mickey Mouse administration and DHS haven't been
doing much more than navel gazing for the past 5 years. Reality is that anything can happen and from anywhere. And all you would hear is that it was another failure of imagination.

5. Not just doing nothing- Hate groups are their "base"
Too few rich people to win elections, but with help from the haters they can win many states.

6. That and this administration has been dividing the populace
of the country with fear. Wouldn't surprise me in the least.
