So Iraq al Qaeda posted a message on the al Qeada website?
I heard this on CNN today, and readabout it on DU http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x2011329">here.

Is it being worded that way - "Iraq al Qaeda" or "al Qeada Iraq" -which is what I heard on CNN today, in order to further muddy the waters for the clueless who then, upon hearing "aQI" think, "well, they are in Iraq?" It puts them right together and repeats the association, without any stipulation. AQ and Iraq are further linked.

Of course, there was no elaboration or even stating of the facts about how AQ (supposedly) has gained a foothold in Iraq.

Its smoke and mirrors reporting, and I wonder how many hearing that know that Iraq and AQ are only connected now, after bush's attack/invasion/occupation? How many hear that and think, "well, Iraq is justified if AQ is there?"

But then, even moving on from that, the report on CNN said that AQ in Iraq had claimed responsibility for the bombings via a website "that AQ uses to communicate with each other."

What???!!!

They communicate via a website that we know about? That doesn't even make sense on the surface. If we disrupted their communication, they'd be less effective, yes? Do we, the Great Land of W, not have the ability to take away that little AQ chatroom? Its not like they don't know we're reading it!

Seriously, wtf?

What's next, the evil Ming and his war on Freedom that only the haloed w can save us from?

If this this particular bafflement has been expressed already, apologies for the dupe.

...that we know about?"

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Two things.

Thing one: It's a lot of hooey. Check out Jihad Undone. Just Google it. That's an example of the WH trying to entrap people into becoming associated with "terrorists". ;)

Thing two: Check out Zarqawi's pic next time you encounter it on TV or whatever. It looks like a 50's passport pic from the M.E. The guy, whomever he may be, might not even exist anymore.

2. It's very important to the fascists, the words "Iraq" and "al Qaeda" ...

appear together as much as possible. It doesn't even have to be asserting there is a real connection between the two entities. The simple act of seeing the words repetitively, resonates in a subtle, subliminal manner. Soon, the two *are* related, simply because a pattern becomes recognizable in one's unconsciousness. In short, we are being "wired," via word association.

In advertising, it's called "branding."
