1. Who do you think draws more listeners?
It might suck sometimes, but that's economics...

9. You sure about that?
You had better check the ratings. I repeat - the ARBITRON RATINGS are what count in commercial radio, at the end of the day. They make radio host careers, and break them. I'm sorry that's the case, but it just is. If you dont like it, organize a move to make them a public radio entity and start pooling your money together for millions and millions in donations in order to keep them on the air.

3. I'm not sure that's right
Malloy wasn't on the new line-up. I suspect Springer won't be, either. We won't know until we know the new line-up.

5. And Malloy was supposed to be subbing all week.
But I guess the suits at AAR bought to much cocaine on Monday, and they ran out of cash, so they had to fire someone.

8. Springer isn't bad
He is just a centrist.
That seems to be the direction that AAR is taking. I'm sick and tired of being thrown a bone every now and then by an organization that I financially support. I understand the big tent philosophy...and I have no problem with it. I believe that AAR even almost had all the corners in the tent covered at one time, but not anymore.
I'm not going with them in their chosen direction...but that has to be everyone's individual choice.
I'm a populist-leaning leftist. I don't mind sharing my space under this tent...but I certainly resent having to step aside to give my space to someone else.
