On the New Al Franken show, David Brock just suckered himself into taking a position in regards to whether or not 9/11 could have been prevented had Cheney’s warrantless spying “program” been initiated before the attacks.

But the fact of the matter is that Cheney’s warrantless spying “program” was initiated before 9/11/01. Moreover, there’s absolutely no evidence to suggest that Cheney’s illegal spy activities have anything at all to do with preventing terrorism. Nothing. None. Nada. Nope.
