9. He also said the dumbest thing about global warming
Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 12:19 AM by proud2Blib
He said they say the earth is 2 degrees warmer than it was 100 years ago. But 100 years ago, they were still shitting in the woods, and I am supposed to believe they had a lock on measuring the temperature of the earth?

Man he is an ignorant bushwipe.

7. I was just going to post about this...
When did Miller become such a hard core right-wing nut case?

Didn't he used to be a liberal?

Is he just just pandering to the neocon's who, I am guessing he assumes, are the majority in America?

I have heard his bullshit rhetoric before, like Rush he just needs to go away. Maybe his care will go the way of the Titanic!

42. That's just bullshit and he knows it
from a cnn article quoting Franken when CNBC was announcing Dennis's show, now since canceled (who'd thunk it  )

"Nine-11 changed me," he (Miller) said. "I'm shocked that it didn't change the whole country, frankly."

The transformation isn't a complete surprise to Al Franken, his former "Saturday Night Live" colleague and now a best-selling liberal author.

"People have said to me, 'What happened to Dennis?' " Franken said.

"Nothing happened to Dennis. He's the same Dennis. He's always had a conservative streak on certain issues."

25. I saw a small amount of an awards show that he hosted a few
weeks ago. I think it might have been the People's Choice awards. Anyway, It was near the end of the show and I was flipping channels. He was standing at the podium whining about how he had been out there bombing for over an hour yet he was told to stretch the show. He made some remark about how he was going to torture the audience as they had been torturing him. He knew that he was not in a warm and friendly room. I quite enjoyed that small moment in his life!

Edited on Sat Jan-21-06 12:22 AM by WildEyedLiberal
Two has-been comics who haven't been funny in ten years trying to salvage their careers by trying to be the reverse of Jon Stewart.

Only, see, it's funny when Jon Stewart criticizes the corrupt party in power that has a 40% approval rating... it's not so funny when two washed-up "comics" skewer the party OUT of power while the Republicans drive this country into the ground.

32. When did HE become a political pundit?
For too many years, I just figured that he was a smartassed semi-comedian who had a bit of a carreer based on making obscure references. Hey, Denny, keep mentioning Gilgamesh, and trust that folks will laugh in order to not look stupid, and stay the FUCK out of rational political discourse, you 9/11 turncoat pussy. Your one-note johnny act petered out during your boring tenure at SNL, and you've sucked worse every year since.

46. So shouldn't Howard Dean say that Dennis Miller should
shut up? Hey, "tit for tat".

Oh I was once accused of the "tit for tat" thing when I dared to fight an idiot who was my supervisor. We had to go in front of an "impartial" group of other supervisors. He of course painted me as the worst employee ever and I challenged him back as the most incompetent supervisor ever that I had worked for. I dared. He said he didn't think I had a right to do "tit for tat" in accusing him.

But we all saw his evolution into a major a-hole before our very eyes. His political proclivities have nothing to do with it. Apparently Mr. Miller hasn't come to terms with his irrelevancy.
